Jaimie Geddes- co-founder & co-editor

Jaimie is 21 years old and a former student of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She is a dancer by trade (she began her training at the age of two) and made it her profession while she lived in her home state of New Jersey. She recently made the journey “under the tunnel” to Manhattan where she now resides with roommate, fellow contributor, Victoria and her fish Nellie (she has far too many work and social commitments to handle to a high maintenance pet—not to mention she can be quite high maintenance herself). When she’s not theatre-going, sipping on pomegranate martinis, or shopping for things she can’t afford, Jaimie can be found working as a manager at a children’s enrichment facility. She’d like to say “Hi Mom!”

Victoria Myers- co-founder & co-editor

Victoria recently graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts one year early. She followed her mother’s advice that you always leave them wanting more. Victoria has had many various internships including for some Broadway media outlets. She also spent a brief time in D.C. where she interned for Senator Sherrod Brown, and although she has no interest in becoming a politician she’d love to play one on T.V. (West Wing the sequel?). Victoria spent her childhood traveling the globe, and is currently quite content to reside on the upper west side with roommate, and fellow contributor, Jaimie. And Asta the Dog. Victoria and Jaimie’s neighbors have heard a lot of showtunes. When Victoria can’t sleep she practices interviewing herself for Vanity Fair and David Letterman. She thinks she’s very amusing.

Deborah Blumenthal- co-founder & chief critic

Deborah is a recent graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University, where she majored in American Studies with a concentration in theater, and wrote her senior thesis on John Doyle’s 2006 revival of Company. According to her thesis advisor, she possesses the magical ability to turn starry-eyed adoration into a stimulating intellectual argument. The project is one of her proudest accomplishments, and she hopes to publish it some day. (And no, not in The New England Medicine Journal of Theatre Musical World Show Center.) While at Barnard, she also wrote theater reviews for Columbia’s student paper, The Spectator. Professionally, she has worn many hats, as an intern at Second Stage Theatre, Ars Nova, Voice and Vision Theater, Clubbed Thumb, and The Playwrights Realm. Deborah originally hails from upstate New York, not far from one of the world’s largest outlet malls, and now resides on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. She is currently interning at one of her favorite theaters, and looking job hunting for the future.

Sarah Hiatt- graphic designer

Sarah is a 20 year old  from Southwest Missouri. She works and travels to New York City as much as she can. If you look in her purse you would find a camera, an iPod, some lip gloss, $3.00 of change at the bottom, a cell phone that plays Glitter and be Gay, and a metro card she used the first time she rode the subway. She is an aspiring photographer and takes pictures of anything that will let her. [Sometimes she does it anyway.] She loves theatre and Broadway lifts her soul. She’ll reside in NYC soon…or someday…later.
